Accounting and reporting analyst - 100% - M/F

Job description:

Under the responsibility of the Accounting Supervisor, you maintain and control Cost Accounting and actively participate in monthly closing activities. You are in charge of monthly group reporting and have an SAP Key User FI CO role.

Responsibilities for Reporting Analyst:

•Create and maintain SAP analytic databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
•Regularly examine analytic record to locate and resolve mistakes in close collaboration with Group Key User
•Perform month-end-closing activities (among others: settle and control analytic supports, allocation cycle, closing postings)
•Accurately analyze and collect data for month-end group reporting (sales, margin per Product lines and Management profit and loss per Product lines)
•Design financial analysis and control reports for use throughout the team (controlling and General Ledger)
•Support the controlling team in reaching their goals through analysis and SAP technical support (budget and forecast)
•SAP key user FI-CO: support the team and perform non regression testing in case of release.

Professional & personal skills:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of accounting system and Excel (SAP is a strong asset)
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills,
• Drive and self-motivation to work independently and deliver under pressure,
• Problem solving nature and attention to details.
• Proactive in challenging status quo and in proposing improvement alternatives
