Technical Sales - Industrial Machines - English & German fluent (W/M)
Bobst is looking to hire a new Technical Sales for its Business Unit Printing & Converting.
In this role, you will have a key role in the sales activities, negotiations as well as order processing and order management ensuring an overall customers' satisfaction from first contact up to machine acceptance.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.

It offers many amenities, such as a corporate restaurant, sports fields, a fitness and a nursery. The facilities have been recently renovated and represent a model for sustainable development.

In this role, you will have a key role in the sales activities, negotiations as well as order processing and order management ensuring an overall customers' satisfaction from first contact up to machine acceptance.
What you are going to do:
- You are the technical reference and partner for LSM (Local Sales Managers) and Agents from stage 1 to the final order, ensuring maximized deal profitability through technical differentiation
- You provide technical solution in order to fulfill Customer need
- You play a key role in deals negotiation process in alignment with the product lines targets
- You actively support and initiate new customer search in local markets
- You define machine specialities with R&D and product marketing and ensure follow-up
- You support local entities in Machine Sales Contracts processing
- You proactively share market intelligence (trends & competition) with Product Marketing, local entities as well as agents
- You provide full support to Local Sales Manager with preparation of demos and/or reference visits, attend when required
- You perform product and process training to all those involved in sales.
What you bring along:
- Technical or commercial education with a strong technical affinity, extensive sales training or education
- At least 5 years successful experience in a similar position
- Strong negotiation skills with decision making drive
- Strong product knowledge in the packaging industry is an asset
- User knowledge of commonly used software and SAP functional knowledge in some module
- Bilingual German / French & any other language is a plus
- Ability to travel globally up to 40% of the time.
