To reinforce our team, we are looking for an
Your mission will be to define, specify and deliver robust and proven electronic / electrical design for our instrument portfolio, under the guidance and mentorship of the Mechatronics Tech Lead.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Create, adapt and optimize electrical/electronic architectures and technical specifications for our automation systems
- Conduct analyses and technical calculations of electrical circuits and secure compliance of technical solutions with internal and external standards and regulations
- Specify, develop and validate function-related designs of electronic-boards based on product standards
- Design, plan, document, and review development tests for electronic-boards and their integration into mechatronics systems
- Provide and maintain complete electronic / electrical documentation
- Resolve technical design issues for the related function and deliver optimal solutions with respect to function, manufacturability, and cost
- Establish and maintain E-CAD software tools
- Close collaboration with Firmware development team
Your profile:
- BSc or MSc degree in electronic or electrical engineering or similar
- Familiar with electronic/electrical engineering CAD tools
- Proven experience in electronics and electrical design ideally working in robotics and/or mechatronics systems
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment: flexible, creative, and self-starter with a passion for new technologies and engineering
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and French
