For our client, we are looking for a Paralegal to join their legal team and support the Head of Legal with legal & compliance tasks (implementing and maintaining new legal technologies and activities across the different agencies).

International and not-for-profit organisation based in Geneva.

Description

  • Assist in the establishment and maintenance of legal technologies (e.g., legal entity software management, matter management, contract management) within the International and not-for-profit organization, collaborating closely with the legal team, third-party technology providers, and IT.
  • Support the development of legal compliance training programs, working with the Head of Legal and global trainers, managing training materials, and coordinating related events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal compliance solutions into organizational practices.
  • Aid in the day-to-day tasks of the legal department such as contract management, organizing legal reviews, and coordinating with external legal counsel.
  • Create and manage operational processes and procedures for the legal department to ensure efficiency.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with legal standards.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling, managing communications, and preparing documents.

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administration and project management, preferably within a legal context and involving IT system projects.
  • Legal experience or training is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient tech skills with an openness to learning new technologies, particularly legal tech tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proactive and independent with strong judgment and communication abilities.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across different cultures and levels of seniority.
  • Familiarity with or alignment with the mission and values of the International and not-for-profit organization is advantageous.
  • Bilingual in French and English; additional language skills are beneficial.
