Brief Job Description:

As a Bid Manager, you will work closely with the sales and finance teams and be responsible for implementing solutions, primarily in the mobile technology space with a focus on coverage and services for business customers. In addition, you will use your knowledge to leverage technological and market developments in line with the business strategy.

Your tasks:

- Support the sales and delivery teams in client negotiations during all phases, from project and financial evaluation to contract closure.

- Analyse the client's needs and environment to identify opportunities.

- Ensure the smooth progression of the bid within the specified timeframe and budget.

- Collaborate closely with the Account and Key Account Manager to present customized solutions to business clients.

- Propose creative methods for process enhancement, technical improvements, and cost savings.

- Conduct RFP analysis and assess requirements.

- Evaluate technical, commercial and financial risks.

- Create RFP response and proposal documents.

- Take ownership of the entire bid process from RFI/RFP stages through to bid submission and presentation.

- Contribute to the pre-qualification process to ensure that all client sales opportunities and bids are fully qualified and identified as winnable.

What you bring:

- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Sales, Marketing, Telecommunications, or IT, along with a minimum of six years of experience in a similar role within an IT/Telecommunications company.

- A strong commercial background and personality, capable of evaluating commercial requirements against technical demands.

- Exceptional teamwork skills, enabling you to work both independently and collaboratively with the sales team, technical teams, and external vendors.

- A flexible and creative disposition, proficient in adapting to change and exploring innovative solutions.

- Proficiency in German, English, or French.
