Research Associate / Laboratory Technician

The University Hospital Zurich (USZ) is one of the most important centers of the Swiss healthcare system, with around 6,000 employees. The Internal Medicine Research Department is seeking a dedicated Research Associate or Technician to join our innovative team.

Research Associate / Laboratory Technician

• Conduct independent research on challenging projects using diverse methods (cell culture, iPSC lab, molecular analytics, live cell microscopy, etc.).
• Document and prepare research findings.
• Plan and execute in vivo studies, including mouse experiments.
• Actively contribute to the design and maintenance of our laboratory infrastructure.

• A committed individual with a BSc/Master's degree with a biological focus, laboratory technician, or technical/biological assistant
• Experience in biological-medical research; experience with animal experiments is desirable (FELASA/LTK1 certificate)
• Proficiency in standard analytical techniques such as RNA/protein extraction, PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry
