Your team

Pictet Wealth Management combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. The Partner-owned financial service group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.

You will be responsible for new client acquisition and retention through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. This role is responsible for business development, the client experience and engaging our resources to deliver a complete wealth management solution.

Your role
  • Onboarding new clients in order to build its own portfolio.

  • Managing each account to ensure that clients have a completed profile and that the accounts are properly maintained and serviced.

  • Meeting prospects and clients as well as preparing and following up on these meetings.

  • Being responsible for the sale and implementation of managed investment solutions and advisory services to core clients, with assistance from our investment professionals. Ensuring that the strategies and services proposed match or exceed the client's needs and objectives.

  • Monitoring portfolios and providing performance reviews.

  • Keeping abreast of market news and understanding how it impacts clients' portfolios and communicating this accordingly.

  • Establishing close and fruitful relations with other service providers both within and outside the Group.

  • Maintaining a strong compliance culture and ensuring optimal compliance and risk management by adhering to all relevant local laws, regulatory requirements, in-house directives and procedures.

Your profile
  • Post-graduate degree such as a Master's, CFA, CIIA or MBA.

  • Minimum of 20 years' wealth management experience including 10 years' of local Eastern European client acquisition experience and at least 10 years' management experience.

  • Acquainted with Eastern European culture and having worked in the region for at least 10 years.

  • Having already managed a team and acted as an inspiring leader to Private Bankers and Client Relationship Officers.

  • Solid track record in developing a book of business consisting of Ultra High Net Worth clients, with focus on local business.

  • Current client base made of Eastern European nationals with a high geographical diversification of a client base within the region and a strong understanding of the Russian Market.

  • Solid understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and identification of wealth planning opportunities.

  • Fluency in English and Russian.

  • Capacity to develop client relationships and an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.

  • Ability to demonstrate negotiating and proven problem-solving skills.

  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
