Responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact for events requests linked to the Glion campuses and F&B Operations
  • Organize and oversee all event logistics, including venue set-up, audio-visual requirements, catering, guest accommodation, transport, workshops need, conferences and all other operational aspects to ensure the smooth running and success of the event
  • Creating and managing event budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring profitable cost solutions while maintaining quality and meeting client expectations
  • Ensure communication with all the departments and faculty to announce the coming events
  • Effectively communicate, interact, and provide support to key stakeholders such as the Head of Departments, faculty members, and academic administration
  • Collaborate with these departments to ensure seamless integration of the event within the academic context and aligning it with the overall goals and objectives of the school
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external companies and clients, to ensure the smooth coordination of event logistics
  • Be present during the event at Glion or Bulle campus to oversee operations, deal with unplanned matters or urgency and work closely with operational department to ensure that the event runs as planned
  • Manage volunteers to contribute to the event's success such as student part
  • Point of contact for communication Visit Campus of Enrollments department
  • Be the point of contact for reception, accounting and the F&B operations department to update, correct, add or modify data
  • Updating prices on Glion & Bulle campus F&B counters, exporting

reports

  • Control and monitor invoices and expenses according to budget allocated
  • Export weekly revenues from F&B Glion campuses and control le

closing budget

Profile and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree acceptable depending on prior experience

and other credentials (preference in a Hospitality environment)

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in delivering Events
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and ability to operate autonomously
  • Several years of work experience preferably in the hospitality or event industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
