We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer/ System Engineer to join our Team.

In this position you'll be responsible to support the PO (Product Owner) Industrial Engineering, to support our worldwide business transformation, deploy leading edge applications & systems, simplify business processes: you will drive how we will manufacture our world class products in the future.

Location: Mex (Vaud), Switzerland
Start date: As soon as possible
Activity Rate: Full-Time
Type of contract: Permanent contract
Travelling: 40-50%

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Support the BOBST factories and the BOBST product lines in the standardization and improvement of the production and production set-up processes
  • Participate in production and production set-up (assembly) process evaluations.
  • Participate in "to be" process design.
  • Lead data standards and data structure analyses required for successful system deployment (production)
  • Own the training and deployment for standard tools and systems (production, assembly), incl. training materials
  • Structure and lead project workstreams; provide clear project status
  • Own the interface between internal system users and IT (Information Technology) providers
  • Collaborate with other functions on end-to-end process optimization
  • Support key user community

Your Profile :
  • Bachelor/master in engineering or production systems
  • Experience in a similar position in a low-volume/high-mix industry in an international environment
  • Expert SAP user and/or trainer
  • Data subject expertise: work order / operation / tasks, BOM / BOM structure, routing, work center, production system
  • Proven project management in multiple geographies & cultures projects. Full lifecycle.
  • Solid experience in training and coaching (including change management).
  • Shop floor, working knowledge of "lean" concepts.
  • Solid ERP/MRP, PLM and MES understanding
  • Excellent communication (transversal/peers, team/dotted lines, up/stakeholders).
  • Drives results; does not give up easily. Provides facts and figures.
  • Languages: fluent English (written, spoken) and good French (spoken)
  • additional language welcome (Italian, Chinese)
  • Ability to travel internationally (mostly Asia & Europe), at an average of 40-50% of the time, with higher peaks depending on project phase
  • Possible administrative locations: Switzerland (preferred), France, Italy (possible)
