Within our 4x8 maintenance team in Avenches, you directly contribute to the availability, reliability and performance of our production equipment. You carry out preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance activities to ensure the continuity of operations. Thanks to your technical skills and analytical ability, you diagnose malfunctions, identify their causes and implement sustainable solutions. You also participate in the development of the team’s knowledge by clearly documenting your interventions, writing technical instructions and supporting technical operators in the use and mastery of the equipment.

How will you make an impact as a Maintenance Technician on 4x8 Shift?

  • Perform diagnostics and resolve breakdowns in various technical fields: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, automation and instrumentation.
  • Work closely with production teams, operators, day maintenance teams and external service providers.
  • Identify root causes of malfunctions and propose reliable and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to improving safety, quality and compliance of installations.
  • Ensure clear and structured traceability of your interventions and guarantee the quality of technical data.
  • Use digital maintenance and intervention management tools, including SAP, POKA and TrendMiner.
  • Share your knowledge and support the skills development of operators and colleagues.
  • Identify and implement improvements contributing to industrial performance, cost reduction and sustainability of installations.

What will make you successful

  • You hold a technical qualification in the field of industrial maintenance (CFC in electrotechnics, automation or an equivalent qualification).
  • You have proven experience in a manufacturing industrial environment.
  • You have practical experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automated equipment.
  • You hold an OIBT electrical certification (article 13 or 15), or are willing to obtain it as part of your role.
  • You communicate clearly and adapt your message to your different interlocutors.
  • You have good analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • You are autonomous, organised and able to manage your priorities according to operational needs.
  • You show initiative and are proactive.
