Rehabilitation Counselling Psychologist (80-100%)



Function level 19

Attached to the "youth" group of the rehabilitation division, you promote the professional reintegration of insured persons under 25 years old through psychological expertise and appropriate measures. You are responsible for the implementation of the Federal Disability Insurance Act by assessing the disability and entitlement to benefits of young insured persons. You are part of a team of about fifteen people and report directly to the team leader.

Your various tasks

  • Manage the rehabilitation process of each insured person under your responsibility, ensuring the granting, monitoring of rehabilitation measures and payment of ancillary benefits, in compliance with the legal framework and deadlines
  • Maintain and develop networking work - CII, institutions, employers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, educators, insured person’s entourage, etc. - to ensure the integration of young insured persons into the labour market
  • Conduct psychological assessments of insured persons to determine the skills and abilities required for a suitable professional project
  • Translate medical requirements by determining the usable work capacity, assess the disability rate for the gainful part and decide on the granting or refusal of rehabilitation benefits

Your profile

  • Holder of a university master’s degree in psychology
  • A specialisation in school and career guidance or occupational psychology is a major asset
  • 5 years of professional experience in the socio-professional field, including some dedicated to young people under 25 years old
  • Proficient in standard office tools (Word, Excel, email) and comfortable using IT tools
  • French: perfect command spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of German and/or another language, both spoken and written, is an asset for the position
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong client orientation
  • Recognised for your great discretion and tact
  • Good listening and communication skills to conduct interviews insightfully, assertively and diplomatically
  • Solution-oriented
  • Ability to gain the support of insured persons, their entourage and external partners
  • Recognised for your flexibility and adaptability to calmly handle the significant workload and administrative burden related to the role
  • Spirit of mutual aid and collaboration to work effectively in a network and integrate into a multidisciplinary team
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, organisational sense to manage files optimally
  • Ability to comply with standards and procedures based on a complex and constantly evolving legal framework
