To strengthen our team, we are looking for a 100% experienced architect to join our office in Geneva.

Job Description

We are seeking an architect with solid professional experience in Switzerland, capable of managing and leading various projects with a high degree of autonomy, from development through to completion.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, particularly in the field of renovation and transformation of residential buildings, as well as other architectural projects developed by our office.

We are primarily looking for an experienced, versatile, rigorous and pragmatic individual, capable of efficiently managing their projects and coordinating with the various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and management of architectural projects, from study to completion.
• Preparation of plans, construction details and execution files.
• Management of renovation and transformation projects of residential buildings.
• Preparation and monitoring of building permit applications.
• Coordination with clients, engineers, specialised consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Monitoring the different project phases in accordance with Swiss standards and practices.
• Participation in tenders and preparation of execution files.
• Architectural and technical supervision of projects during the construction phase.
• Autonomous management of priorities, deadlines and various tasks related to assigned projects.

Profile Sought

• Architectural training from ETH, HES or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally acquired in Switzerland.
• Good experience in the development and management of architectural projects.
• Experience in renovation and transformation of residential buildings is a significant asset.
• Good knowledge of Swiss construction standards, SIA standards and Geneva administrative procedures.
• Ability to manage projects independently, take initiative and find practical solutions.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage several files simultaneously.
• Ease in coordination and communication with the various project partners.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD is essential.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Excellent command of French, both written and spoken.
