Job description

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of project managers, engineers, and staff to manage the engineering capital program for our Switzerland sites. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the timely implementation of assets within cost and safety parameters, developing project professionalism, and ensuring that all projects meet HSE requirements.

  • Lead a team of project managers, engineers, and staff to manage the engineering capital program for our Switzerland sites.
  • Ensure timely implementation of assets within cost and safety parameters.
  • Develop project professionalism and ensure projects meet HSE requirements.
  • Manage and optimize resource utilization within the CPG.
  • Develop capital project capability and governance.
  • Efficiently outsource detailed engineering work across sites.
  • Influence capital investments based on business strategies.
  • Improve processes for project cost and progress tracking.
  • Deliver applications for engineering capital approvals and project closure reports.
  • Set success criteria and formulate project execution strategies.
  • Share engineering knowledge and demonstrate HSE leadership.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Manage diverse engineering projects and compliance requirements.
  • Contract and manage engineering services and suppliers.

🎯 Your Profile :

  • 15+ years in project management.
  • Proven track record in managing major engineering projects.
  • Experience in the Agrochemical, Pharma, Chemical, or process industry preferred.
  • Expertise in project definition, cost control, and contract management.
  • Strong leadership, networking, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English and German
