Technical Manager Battery Integration (f/m/d)

Axpo Solutions AG, a leader in energy innovation and sustainable solutions, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Technical Manager to oversee the integration of battery storage systems into our IT and Quant infrastructure. Situated in Baden, Switzerland, this role is ideal for those passionate about advancing renewable energy technologies and enhancing operational efficiencies in the energy sector.

What you will do:



  • Manage the technical integration of battery storage systems, ensuring smooth operation and seamless integration with existing IT and quant infrastructures.


  • Specify IT interfaces between our quant infrastructure and other Axpo/third-party software, optimizing the functionality of battery storage systems.


  • Deploy and maintain software across cloud-based platforms, supporting the ongoing development of battery optimization algorithms.


  • Collaborate across departments to facilitate the deployment of IT infrastructure, enhancing software use across diverse operational systems.


  • Support operational business by serving as the primary contact for software users, coordinating software updates and changes based on user feedback.

What you bring & who you are:


  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Natural Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in technical/IT project management, preferably in the energy sector or related fields.

  • A big plus: Experience with battery / PV systems, especially power plant controller, energy management system, systems interfaces, etc.

  • Proficiency in programming (basic skills in Python preferred) and familiarity with software development and deployment frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a broad audience.

  • Strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the capability to manage large-scale projects.

  • Fluent English is required and German is an advantage
