WinGD is looking for a

Operative Purchaser

Responsibilities:

In this position you will support our Supply Chain Management team to ensure efficient procurement, warehouse management and material availability.

• Day-to-day purchasing of materials and services
• Monitoring of delivery dates and active problem solving in case of delivery delays
• First contact person for suppliers, review and approval of supplier invoices according to delegation of authority.
• Close cooperation with various departments and continuous support of our strategic purchasers
• Maintenance of master data in our ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA)
• Handling and coordination of claims and warranty cases
• Monitor and report supplier performance (i.e. delivery reliability, lead time and price)
• Negotiate and execute spot buys within given guidelines
• Review and verify technical specifications and requirements

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced operative Purchaser who has an open, communicative personality with a high degree of assertiveness for purchasing of two stroke engine components.

• Swiss Berufsausbildung EFZ (idealy with continuing education as Einkaufsfachmann (m/w/d) oder Techn. Kaufmann (m/w/d) mit eidg. Fachausweis)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing or financial planning
• High level of commitment, self-motivated and team spirit
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and all level of employees
• To understand technical and commercial specifications and drawings in English
• Logistic knowledge for global transport, import and export
• Good skills for Microsoft Office specifically for Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Being familiar and ready to work with our ERP system SAP S/4 HANA
• Fluent English in speaking and writing. German is of additional advantage
