Your roles and responibilities:

• Independently maintain/use advanced technical equipment
• With coaching organise and carry out experiments independently
• Understand scientific background and objectives of their activities
• Format results, and critically evaluate them for discussion at project/activity level
• Transversal mobility between working areas
• LI/MP ownership and accordingly assistance end users for implementation and use with some coaching by specialist/expert
• Technical reviewing of existing LI
• Coach apprentices and students
• Transversal technical mobility between working areas

Microbiology, such as:

• Handling of pathogenic bacteria
• Handling of spoilage organisms (moulds)
• Preparation of culture media
• Growing microbe cultures
• Aseptic techniques
• Biosafety awareness

Laboratory:

• Physicochemical analysis (pH, aw, etc)
• Handling chemicals
• Good practices and familiar with the use of lab equipment (e.g. Bioscreen, flowcytometry, HPLC)
• Planning experiments

• Good verbal and written communication in English, French is a big plus
