Our Technology team is critical to progressing Zurich towards being Australia’s leading Digital Insurer. The Technology strategy focuses on strengthening foundations through security, stability and scalability, builds for the future through enabling agility, simplicity, efficiency and Enables the art of the possible through innovation, digitalization experience.

Reporting to the Chief Architect, we are seeking a Digital Architect who will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of our company. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust digital architecture strategies that align with our business goals and technological vision. Your expertise will guide the development of scalable and secure digital solutions, ensuring they meet current and future needs.

In order to be successful in the role, you will require the following:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Architect, Solution Architect, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful digital transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of digital technologies and architectures, including cloud computing, APIs, microservices, and data analytics.
• Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in stakeholder management, strategic planning, and driving change in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
• Deep understanding and experience in designing and delivering common and digital architecture patterns.
• Deep understanding in DevSecOps process from build, test, scan, deploy, security.
• Understanding the whole technology stack, including authentication, integration platforms, user interface, network, public cloud, internal data centre, DevSecOps and data analytics.
• Experience designing a Domain Oriented Microservices Architecture (DOMA) / Domain Services.
