We are looking for a Development Engineer to join us in shaping the next generation of Coriolis flow sensors at Endress+Hauser Flow. As part of our expert team in Reinach, Switzerland, you will have the freedom to contribute creatively and independently in a wide range of tasks, working in a very team-oriented environment where collaboration and innovation go hand in hand. If so, this role offers you the opportunity to design, test, and improve our Coriolis flow sensors in close collaboration with colleagues from R&D, quality assurance, and production. You’ll be part of our development team at our Production Centre in Reinach, working hands-on to shape sensor technology that sets industry standards.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- You develop flow sensors in the field of Coriolis sensor development
- You design sensors and build them as prototypes
- You test and qualify the prototypes using internal and external systems
- You are responsible for product improvements, including investigations for root cause analysis
- You are responsible for defining test requirements
- You ensure that the sensor design complies with relevant international standards (compliance, metrological standards, pressure approval)
What do we expect from you?
You:
- You have a completed degree in mechanical engineering (University of Applied Sciences, Technical University, ETH) or a comparable qualification
- An apprenticeship as a mechanic, design engineer, and/or further training as a mechanical engineering technician is an advantage
- Professional experience in industrial sensor technology and/or process and automation technology as well as knowledge of project management is an advantage
- Experience with CAD design (ideally using Creo Parametric) is an advantage
- You have very a good level of spoken and written German and English
- You have a quick grasp of new concepts, a well-organized and independent working style, and are characterized by strong communication skills
