Contract duration: The initial contract is 1 year. The contract is then renewed for 2 x 2 years. The
maximum funding period is 5 years

Domaine d'activité
• PhD Studies: As a PhD student, you will be enrolled in the Doctoral Program at the Faculty of
Management, Economics, and Social Sciences at the University of Fribourg. 50 of your time will
be dedicated to your doctoral studies and thesis, under the guidance of your supervisor, Prof. Dr.
Stephan Nüesch.
• Teaching, Mentoring and Course Support: As a member of the iimt team, you will support and
mentor both Master’s and executive education students. This includes (co-)teaching lectures,
supervising Master’s theses, and assisting with the organization of executive education courses.
Exigences
We are seeking highly motivated candidates for a PhD position who meet the following qualifications:
• Education: A master’s degree in business administration or a related field (e.g., management,
innovation management, HRM, technology management, finance, IT). Early applications are
welcome, even several months prior to graduation.
• Research & Teaching Passion: A strong interest in both academic research and teaching.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and proficient in French and/or German, with good passive
comprehension of the other language.
• Research Interests: Interest in at least one of the following areas:
o Digital business models
o Top management teams and digital innovation
o Artificial intelligence
o Technology management
o Strategic human resource management
