Let’s Talk about the Role
You as Project Manager, EMEA Creative Operations at Vans will be a vital member of the Vans Global Creative Operations team, directly managing the creative development process for marketing initiatives within our EMEA region. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Global Creative Operations, you will work closely with EMEA Creative, Production, and Marketing team members, driving continual optimization of the process for intake, project management, and delivery of EMEA campaigns and regional implementation of Global campaigns.
How You Will Make a Difference

Serve as the point of contact for EMEA Creative projects, working closely with the Global Creative and EMEA Marketing teams.

Receive and review creative briefs to ensure that there is a common understanding of the job to be done, project timing, potential risks, and individual accountability within the cross-functional project team.

Build and drive project timelines, communicating all key milestones and due dates to the integrated team.

Schedule internal kick-offs, regroups, and reviews as required to ensure that creative work delivers to the brief.

Tackle project adjustments promptly and efficiently, keeping key stakeholders informed throughout the process, and identifying potential timeline risks ahead.

Manage the coordination and assignment of resources to creative projects, accounting for cross-functional needs and creative skill sets in order to allocate resources efficiently and effectively.

Utilize and champion connected creative tools—from workflow applications to document project process, to Digital Asset Management systems for facilitating timely delivery of finished Creative Assets— making it clear and easy to work within and across the Creative Operations team.
Skills for Success

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3 or more years of experience and professional achievements within Creative Operations.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Experience working in creative environments, either in-house or at external agencies

Understanding of creative and production processes across video, digital, and print
-
Ability to work cross-functionally; strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy is critical

Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple, competing priorities
-
Strong communication skills, including the ability to be firm but fair, clear and concise
-
Comfortable dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity by creating structure and prioritization
-
Works effectively and delivers results in a lean and agile environment

Efficient in leading short-term and long-range projects simultaneously
-
Consistent track record of delivering high quality projects on time

Awareness of contracts and legal requirements related to creative development
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Wrike, and/or Orange Logic DAM is a plus

Experience utilizing automated and AI creative tools
