What you will do:
- Support the development and roll-out of smart digital strategies — boosting decision-making with real insights.
- Get hands-on with modern tools like BI systems, automation platforms, and AI-driven analytics to make finance sleeker, smarter and more fun.
- Be a digital champion—guide teams through change and make sure those tools stick
- Collaborate across Finance, IT, Strategy and other functions to deliver end-to-end digital solutions
- Help set the gold standard for data on financial (IFRS) and non-financial KPIs as we go all-in on data-driven finance
- Spot new ways tech can boost quality, speed, and decision-making across the board with technology
What you bring & who you are:
- A brain wired for Finance, Business Informatics, or anything in that clever neighborhood
- Experience and eagerness to learn in the digital playground—think Power BI, automation tools, ERP or consolidation wizardry
- A sharp analytical mind and a love for both financial and non-financial data
- A team player who’s not afraid to speak up, pitch in, and keep the energy high
- Quick reflexes, endless curiosity, and a knack for riding the wave of digital change
- Fluent English is a must; German skills score extra high-fives
About the team:
This role sits in the Digital Controlling Projects team within Axpo Group Controlling—a small but mighty trio on a mission to make finance smarter, faster, and a lot more fun. Collaboration is the secret sauce in this team: we work closely with other Group Controlling teams and divisions across the entire Axpo universe—from CKW and Power Generation to the ever-inventive, fast-paced world of Trading. It’s the perfect place for anyone who loves blending power, finance, and tech to make a real impact across the board.
