Your team
Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.
As part of BPSA Compliance Control Testing team, you will ensure control testing for activities related to anti-money laundering, investor protection and market abuse monitoring. You will also analyse legal and regulatory provisions to prepare recommendations and compliance position statements in regard to operational controls.
Your role
• Performing control testing in line with Group Guidelines based on RCSA and SCI to ensure that all major compliance risks are covered by relevant and adequate controls (AML, investment suitability, cross-border, market abuse and shareholding disclosures, depository bank, PA dealings; US reporting).
• Establishing controls cartography in adherence with RCSA and Group guidelines on risk management and SCI.
• Preparing KPIs and KRIs based on the controls performed.
• Writing recommendations intended for the front business activities.
• Providing reports and dashboards to management.
Your profile
• At least two years’ experience in the banking industry.
• University degree with qualifications in Internal Audit or Risk and Compliance Management.
• Knowledge of AML, market conduct, cross-border and investor protection.
• Good experience with Swiss regulations, knowledge of regulations of any other markets would be a plus.
• Excellent ability to prepare and write reports.
• Highly skilled user of standard MS Office applications.
• Pragmatic, analytical skills and diplomatic with a strong team spirit.
• Well organised and able to work independently.
• Fluency in French and English, with excellent writing skills in both languages. A good command of German would be an asset.
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocated.
