Our mission: We safely power your flight. As a Multi-skilled Mechanic (m/f) – Engine Gearbox Assembly/Disassembly you will:
Your tasks
- Professional assembly and disassembly of engine gearboxes and related components according to manufacturer specifications and technical drawings
- General mechanical assembly tasks on engine components and gear systems
- Manual and machine-based refurbishment of engine parts, including:
Grinding, drilling, riveting, bonding, cleaning, sandblasting, and core blasting - Inspection and documentation of components for dimensional accuracy and damage
- Independent reading and application of technical documentation, such as Maintenance Manuals (AMM, CMM)
- Active participation in process improvements and the implementation of new technologies using Lean Management methods (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, 5S)
- Strict compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA Part-145) and internal quality and safety standards
- Supporting adjacent departments as needed (e.g., inspections, logistics, repair coordination).
Your Profile
- Successfully completed vocational training in a mechanical trade, preferably as a polytechnic, industrial mechanic, or similar qualification
- Ideally, initial work experience in the aviation industry or in a high-precision mechanical environment (e.g., engine or gearbox technology)
- Strong quality awareness and a precise, structured, and independent working style
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as flexibility in daily operations
- Ability to stay focused and work efficiently even under time pressure
- Willingness to work shifts (2-shift system) and occasionally on weekends if required
- Motivation for continuous professional development and acquisition of aviation-specific certifications
- Solid IT user skills (especially MS Office); SAP or similar ERP system knowledge is an advantage
- Good command of German and English, both spoken and written.
