PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Drive the modernization of Logistics Assets & Systems by overseeing and implementing digitalization initiatives within the logistics department.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and support BU Logistics Development Strategy and manage Logistics CAPEX. Define with Logistics Operations Managers CAPEX prioritization for investment decisions
- Lead BU initiatives in Logistics Development in FG & RM (e. g. warehouse expansion, new automated warehouse, yard management)
- Change Management leader in implementation new tools and technologies and providing training and support to employees
- Responsible for Logistics digital roadmap of total BU. Explore and implement jointly with BSS new technologies and systems for Logistics
- Support Logistics Operations & Distribution as project team member
- Support Logistics CI Manager to create a strong capability plan for Logistics Digitalization & Automation
- Identify & Coordinate fit for purpose technical streams
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Master’s degree (preferred Logistics or SC Management)
- Min. 3 years of experience in logistics (in a cross-cultural environment and in a matrix organization preferably)
- Ability to play as a team member, to build relationships and drive change
- Proactive approach to ongoing projects
- Strong ability to form effective working partnership with functions and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good prioritizing, time management and influencing skills
- Communicative knowledge of English
