Engineer, Validation Operations

We're currently supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in Boudry in their search for a Validation Engineer for a short-term contract. This is an on-site role requiring a valid Swiss work permit. The ideal candidate will bring strong GMP experience and proven expertise in utilities qualification, specifically purified water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead or support equipment and system qualification/validation activities

Develop validation strategies based on risk and scientific rationale

Author and review validation protocols, reports, and documentation

Oversee vendor execution of validation tasks

Perform periodic reviews to maintain validated states

Assess change controls and maintenance impacts on validated systems

Participate in audits as SME for validation topics

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical validation

Strong knowledge of cGMP, GAMP, and regulatory guidelines

Experience with purified water system qualification (required)
