Job Description
We are looking for a maternity cover in our Corporate Communications team. The assignment is expected to run from 1 July 2025 to 28 February 2026, with some flexibility regarding the start and end dates.
As a Communications Specialist, you are an advisor to our business entities, investment teams and corporate functions, and ensure that we are visible with the relevant themes and messages both externally and internally. Your primary responsibilities are:

Media relations and social media: develop and implement media and social media strategies for key content materials, as well as the successful positioning of our internal experts in international media; build and maintain a network of key journalists; eventually take over responsibility for country-specific campaigns;

Take over full responsibility to manage LGT Capital Partners’ website, including content curation through our CMS;

Thought leadership and awards: develop and drive thought leadership materials such as whitepapers, webinars or podcasts in joint collaboration with our experts in the investment or research teams; support in copywriting and/or proof reading of flagship materials and award submissions, and take full accountability for end-to-end production;

Competitor insights: support the team in gaining and structuring competitor insights, and rolling out and implementing a successful media and social media monitoring;

General: support the Marketing and Communications teams in daily business wherever need be; steer and leverage a network of international PR agencies and freelancers.
Requirements

University degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field;

At least 5 years of professional experience in Corporate Communications with a focus on external communications, ideally in the financial industry;

Excellent command of English; very good command of German a strong plus;

Outstanding writing and communication skills; passion for content creation, message development and writing;

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership; hands-on mentality and pragmatic personality;

Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment; meticulous attention to detail;

Strong stakeholder management skills; talent for navigating a matrix environment;

Experience in social media marketing highly preferred.
