The Opportunity:

As the National Sales Manager of Oncology, you will be pivotal in driving sales operations and achieving performance targets. This leadership position requires effective team management, strategic planning, and the ability to build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sales operations plan for the assigned product area, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets, revenue goals, and broader performance objectives (quantitative and qualitative) for the designated team.
  • Manage and lead a team of Key Account Managers and/or Sales Representatives, providing guidance, training, and coaching to enhance their performance. Drive the development of an effective sales team through continuous training, coaching, and management of key commercial programs.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key partners, medical experts, and other relevant stakeholders in the field. Lead the process of mapping accounts' needs with the company's strategy, ensuring alignment and effective execution.
  • Collect, manage, and present relevant information on customers, market dynamics, performance, and competitors to internal stakeholders. Support the development of product marketing strategies through collaboration with the medical and marketing departments, ensuring their effective implementation by the sales force.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong learning agility able to rapidly study, analyze, understand, and generate ‘sense’ from many data sources to interpret insight.
  • Deep understanding of how to interpret data (market, financial etc.) and leverage insights generated, to build a strategic view of the market and convert that content into language which has meaning for multiple audiences.
  • Delivering to stretch KPIs, to sustainably grow the business and maintain performance.
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English and German

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • In-depth Pharma industry knowledge
  • Proven record of accomplishment in Pharma marketing or market research

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • This position is field-based in Switzerland.
