atelier noir ag

The main focus of atelier noir's work is currently on the creation of living space in various sizes and types of development, with a concentration on buildings in core zones and with the highest standards of historic preservation. Working in rural as well as urban locations, atelier noir is focused on seeing the use at the centre and doing more for the entire life cycle of a property than just enclosing volumes. Living and living spaces have a formative influence on personal development and should be places of encounter, but also of retreat. To experience the feeling of freedom and lightness, sheltered and protected by one's own walls, is the overriding design idea that motivates atelier noir. In 2021, atelier noir ag was founded by Patrick Norden and Sebastian Czichon in Basel and in 2022 expanded to include its first national branch in Winterthur.
