We are looking for a motivated Team Leader for the Production Development (m/f/d) for our battery production located in Baden. In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership and technical management of Production Development in the Energy Storage Systems.You will be a member of the ESS site leadership team, where you will be involved in management and strategic decisions and help shape the further development of the entire organization. You have strong leadership skills and solid experience in defining production processes for automated production lines, introducing new products, building equipment for our battery production. You are motivated to take responsibility with your team and take our production to the next level with your knowledge of LEAN production.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and shape team of experts in new production line ramp-up and optimization of current battery production methods.
• Align production process with product design, meeting cost and quality targets.
• Collaborate on production strategy with production manager and evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate sourcing of new production equipment with SCM.
• Develop budget estimates for new product and process development.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Over 5 years of leadership and project management experience in industry (production or engineering)
• Motivated to lead in fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environments
• Experience in Production development for large electrotechnical devices
• Knowledge of industrial automation, test equipment engineering, and lean production
• Proficient in MS Tools, SAP, ERP, and MES
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English
