In this role, you will lead a team of two, aligning their efforts with our company's strategic objectives through dedicated management and performance oversight. As a strategic partner to key IS managers, you will ensure the integrity of financial data, drive enhancements in cost efficiency and productivity, and implement strong internal controls. Your skills will be essential in guiding business planning, overseeing performance, and ensuring adherence to both financial and IS standards, all within a vibrant international setting.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing a team of two individuals, totaling 1.6 full-time equivalents (FTE), effectively overseeing their roles, performance, and development to ensure team alignment with organizational goals and responsibilities.
  • Acting as a key partner to the Country IS Manager and Local Division IS Managers, overseeing business planning and performance as well as serving as the main interface among various stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ensuring high quality of financial data and business information, in line with standards and schedules and establishing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial information as well as enabling continuous improvement in financial control processes in line with global standards and local policies.
  • Contributing to defining key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring financial performance, and driving cost structure and productivity improvements as well as evaluating the financial implications of business decisions and recommends actions.
  • Identifying issues within the function, advising management on action plans, and implements strategies to resolve them.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient communication with internal customers to identify and address issues for operational improvement, work quality, and efficiency within their area of responsibility.
  • Defining and implementing internal controls for financial and non-financial operations, necessary IS controls (ITGCs) and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Coordinating all IS compliance-related topics within the organization, including data privacy documentation and the organization of external audits with relevant control owners.
  • Ensuring regular compliance with ICOFR and ITGC standards as per the required timeline and maintaining thorough documentation of data privacy relevant applications and workflows.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferably in business administration or business informatics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controlling.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements or problems and provide clear recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Self-driven team player able to work in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (English must, German beneficial).
  • Current work permit valid in Switzerland or EU/EFTA.
