What you do:

  • Establish a tailored Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach applicable to Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) with a particular focus on complex systems and systems of systems
  • Perform compatibility and gap analysis on available MBSE tools with respect to the defined framework for GBTS products development
  • Take part in the creation of proof-of-concept models for legacy GBTS products within the defined MBSE framework, including operational instructions and technical documentation
  • Write guidelines and manuals on the defined MBSE framework and related practical procedures
  • Take part in the development of a new GBTS product across its entire life cycle within the defined MBSE framework, from operational concept to integrated verification and validation activities
  • Support the daily business of the Training Systems department, from R&D to customer projects

What you bring:

  • Master degree in Software, Systems or Aeronautical Engineering with a focus on complex systems
  • Knowledge of one or more systems engineering architecture methods
  • Experience with system engineering methodologies as well as with tools for MBSE, e.g. Capella, Matlab, Cameo
  • Excellent social and communication skills with a fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to plan short-, mid- and long-term tasking and setting up a workplan
  • Adapt to changes in a fluid environment, reworking already established plans
