Your ‘day to day’: Generate and analyze financial information for Caribbean markets, ensuring compliance with due dates, local and US regulations and accounting standards (US-GAAP), as well as PMI internal policies, in order to facilitate the decision-making process that contributes to maximize business results. Accountabilities: • Ensure that the appropriate accounting standards are maintained in the processing of all accounting entries and the underlying transactions and that all entries are adequately recorded in the financial system to ensure the company accounting reflects the correct accounting and fiscal information, follows local procedures, laws, and regulations. • Preparation of all invoices (customers and intercompany), their approval and correct registration in the financial system by the external accounting firm ensuring all compliance with defined controls (credit limit availability, approved prices, etc) • Follow up and analysis of accounting entries, perform month end closing activities including financial accruals, follow up on open PO's, reclassifications and compensation of open items including unvouchered. • Ensure Fiscal Compliance program activities are completed for all customers in Trinidad, perform credit analysis for Caribbean Distributors • Perform short and mid-term cashflow to ensure adequate cash levels are maintained in order to fulfil financial commitments in local and foreign currency. Perform foreign exchange transactions and cash operations with banks with the appropriate approvals • Administration of corporate credit card program, monitoring and follow up of outstanding balance Who we’re looking for: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration • 2-3 years in accounting departments, financial reporting, budgeting, or other related Finance fields • Accounting principles knowledge, Financial analysis (balance sheet and PnL) • Excel: Advanced • Analytical Skills • Problem solving • Team Work • FlexibilityApply
