Administrative headaches for HR managers, payroll managers, employees, doctors and claims managers, were the norm. Your Role

As a Claims Supporter, you'll operate within a dynamic international setting, centered in Basel. You'll be in charge of first level tasks and assist the claims manager in managing the claims cases. Your role is pivotal in ensuring seamless customer interactions and contributing to an exceptional customer journey.

What you will do

  • Performing administrative duties, including preparation of claims documents within prescribed guidelines.
  • Providing inbound and outbound phone support, addressing customer inquiries.
  • Coordinating invoices for the finance department and managing case documentation.
  • Supporting claims personnel with various tasks and activities.

  • You possess at least 1 year of customer service experience within the insurance industry.
  • Fluent in German (C1 level) and proficient in French (B2 level) and/or Italian (B2 level).
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build long-lasting relationships with our partners and support the employees during their leave.
  • You have a team player attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and are adaptable to changing priorities.
  • You are open to work at our Basel office, with occasional visits to our Zurich office.
  • Experience in project management within insurance settings.
  • You exhibit a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance claims support processes.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • You are tech-savvy and excited about new technologies in the insurance space.
  • You are excited to explore new approaches to prevention and reintegration of employees into their work life.

    • During this call we want to learn more about you and previous experiences, but also give you the opportunity to ask questions about grape.

    • During this call we will go more in depth in understanding your background and skills.
  • Skills Assessment
    • You will get the chance to work on our skills assessment during a time slot of your choice, to showcase your technical competence.
  • Skills Assessment Presentation - Nathalie Boeglin, Claims Manager | 60min
    • You will be able to present your assessment and explain your methods & processes more in depth.
  • Cultural Connect @grape HQ - Fabian & Greg, Founders | 60 min
    • Meet our founders and some of the other team members at our office in Zurich.
  • Reference calls
    • By this point we will have gotten a very good idea of your background, skills and team fit. Now it’s on us to do the last check with the references you provided.
  • Offer
    • We’ll write out and send you your offer, so that you can start getting excited about you joining our team!
