The goal of our urology research laboratory is to develop new treatment options for urological diseases. We are particularly interested in in vivo models of GU cancers and ex vivo model system, such as organoids and tissue slices.



Biology laboratory technician

Your tasks

  • Deputy management and implementation of animal experiments
  • Organization of the laboratory operation in cooperation with the team
  • Help with the practical training and supervision of students
  • Molecular biological work including cell culture, rtPCR, Western blot, FACS, immunofluorescence microscopy

Your profile

  • Completed training as a laboratory technician with basic training in biology or medicine (Master of Science, Bachelor of Science no PhD)
  • Practical experience in cell culture and molecular biological methods is an advantage.
  • Training and practical experience in performing animal experiments (LTK1 or equivalent)
  • Language skills: English fluent or native (German, French, Italian optional)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to work autonomously, good organizational skills, flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Team player, open, diplomatic, communicative personality
