From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking Direct team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to- end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.

We are seeking a customer focused person who thrives on making a difference, to join this team in the role of Relationship Manager, Business Banking Direct (Fast Growth).

The Relationship Manager, Business Banking Direct (Fast growth) is a crucial role to both HSBC and the communities we serve. The successful applicant will need to be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service to approximately 150 Fast Growth Businesses with a focus on technology, life sciences and sustainability.

*Please Note: Even though the base location is listed as Glasgow, this is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work at any HSBC Commercial Centre around the UK. However, you will be required to attend the Commercial Centre for 60% of the working week.

In this role, you will:

•    Be an ambassador for HSBC and develop the bank’s profile in the wider community
•    Collaborate with your team and support colleagues to ensure business and client requirements are met
•    Nurture existing client relationships and identify and develop new business opportunities when appropriate
•    Build a network of business introducers in the business community 
•    Adhere to structures and processes for the management of credit, operational, reputational, criminal and regulatory risk
