• Create original instructional and training materials that are tightly integrated into our games and interactive experiences
• Create user studies to test the instructional materials
• Design and create assessments that can be integrated into our projects
• Ensure the quality of our learning materials are of the highest standards
• Work with the game designers to create new original learning designs and game mechanics for use in games
• Develop feedback systems
• Anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems as they arise

• PhD in Curriculum Design and Assessment or related field
• 3+ years of experience in assessment design and validation
• 3+ years of experience in curriculum design and validation
• Demonstrated research and evaluation design and implementation skills
• Demonstrated data collection skills (e.g., interviewing, classroom observation, focus group moderation, and survey administration
• Demonstrated qualitative data analysis skills
• Expertise in formative assessment and feedback research with a track record of scholarly contributions
• Experience in formative assessment design and evaluation with notable contributions to applied settings
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to multitask, address issues quickly and efficiently, and work independently
• English and/or German
