To support the CEO of the Roche Diagnostics (Dia) division, we are looking for an Executive Assistant. In this position you run the Dia CEO office and take on a variety of administrative and project support activities, in support of efficiency and effectiveness. The position is based in Rotkreuz.

Your opportunities

  • Daily run of the Dia CEO office and proactively managing a wide range of administrative and project management duties, including meeting set-up and preparation, correspondence, information management, expense management etc.

  • Provide annual overview and preparation for Dia CEO activities such as affiliate visits, customer engagements, presentations, fact packs, CEC and board meetings.

  • Proactively prioritize conflicting needs and requests by applying agreed guiding principles.

  • Support and in some cases lead projects to successful completion.

  • Ensuring the right information is available to the Dia CEO and team and is updated, in the right level of detail, at the right time, enabling a smooth workflow whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality in relationship with all stakeholders.

  • May prepare presentation materials for board of director meetings or other key meetings.

  • Be a role model for other team assistants and support onboarding of new joiners.

Who you are

You are a business savvy, proactive and solution oriented self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You are able to prioritize and multi-task with an eye for details. You are an open-minded, excellent teammate who enjoys working in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams.

You hold a commercial diploma (e.g. commercial apprenticeship or commercial college) or an equivalent qualification and at least 5-7 years’ work experience in a similar position. On top of this:

  • You have strong people skills, you like and respect people and can interact comfortably at all levels of the organization, including the most senior levels of the company; you can represent the Dia CEO to others in this same spirit of respect, approachability and friendliness. You are stakeholder savvy and sensitive to working in an environment of highest discretion and confidentiality.

  • You enjoy flexibility, but are also available as needed outside of normal working hours.

  • You have very good verbal and written communication skills – fluency in English and German is a requirement.

  • You are a strong strategic planner who can work proactively to optimize scheduling for the CEO office

  • You have excellent organizational and logistical skills; you're able to easily navigate time zones, manage travel related challenges, support remote event coordination and are savvy with latest communication technologies.

  • You have very good Google and MS Office application skills and you enjoy exploring new digital tools.

  • You have experience working in diverse and complex organizational cultures and structures and embrace the concept of constantly adapting to support Roche’s Ten-year ambitions.
