The Position

We are actively shaping the future of the Roche site in Rotkreuz. The Strategy & Project department makes an important contribution to this: it is responsible for the strategic development of the site and all investments in buildings and production facilities. This includes projects in the areas of production, research and infrastructure. We attach particular importance to sustainability, safety, employee satisfaction and economic efficiency.

Career Opportunities

• In this position you are responsible for the project management of major technical projects (> 50 Mio. CHF) that significantly impact internal business objectives

• You develop highly complex projects and will be responsible for successful implementation in terms of schedule/budget and quality goals. You are responsible for the project execution strategy. You develop a suitable project organization and you lead the project team members (internal and external) in a matrix organization

• You create an environment of inclusion where differing perspectives are fostered and encouraged and you coach your project team members or other project managers with less experience

• You are a recognized expert in CAPEX project management and have a broad knowledge of related disciplines. You are able to challenge project requirements, costs and timelines

• Your report the projects to local and global steering committees and approval bodies. You are able to set up an efficient and effective stakeholder management

• You ensure the implementation of requirements such as GMP/FDA guidelines, occupational safety, environmental protection and safety regulations as well as official requirements and internal Roche regulations adhered to (e.g. Diagnostics Project Practices)

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed Technical studies (Bachelor required, Master preferred) in the field of engineering, industrial engineering, natural sciences or similar

• Profound experience in project management (> 50 Mio CHF) is a must

• Experience working in a regulated environment, knowledge of cGMPs and of legal and regulatory requirements and standards in practice

• Experience in manufacturing Engineering function is an advantage

• You are business fluent in English and German

• VACC, Entrepreneur, Strong Growth Mindset, Decision Maker and strong Communication Skills and able to address difficult/sensitive topics
