Kiepe Electric Switzerland develops and manufactures power electronics modules and supplies complete systems for charging infrastructure, on-board power supplies and electric drives. We ensure the availability of Kiepe drive systems for Swiss transport companies or modernize them with new battery systems.
To strengthen our team at our headquarters in Niederbuchsiten (or another Kiepe location), we are looking for a
Hardware Engineer Power Electronics m/f/d 80 - 100%
Your tasks
Development of power electronics for electric mobility: conception, design, simulation and commissioning of power electronic circuits, filters and their components
Development and further development of inverter controls, commissioning and verification
Design of power stages, digital and analog control circuits
Support for project management/technical project management of order-related development projects
Co-development of architectures and specifications, cooperation with production for DFM and DFT
Carrying out tests, calculations and simulations, optimizing circuits
Creation of development documentation, test plans and customer documentation
PCB design
Your Profile
BSC or MSC in electrical engineering or propulsion technology
Sound practical experience in power converter design including EMC and filter components
Sound practical experience in control engineering
Knowledge of railroad engineering standards and functional safety is an advantage
Good knowledge of German and English
Commitment, ability to work in a team, flexibility, initiative and ability to work under pressure
Willingness to travel, mainly in Switzerland
