Our Controlling team at our headquarters in Winterthur is looking for an

Operational Excellence Analyst

that drives Finance Operational Excellence initiatives and supports reliable and accurate cash forecasting processes for our Rotating Equipment Services Division.


Key responsibilities

  • Identifies and manages continuous improvement initiatives for the controlling function (Net Working Capital management, collection strategy, supplier management, tendering/risk review…)

  • Supports and co-ordinates NWC/ONCF planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the division finance organization

  • Act as a business partner with region and LE’s and be instrumental in terms of Net Working Capital Improvement measures (support LE’s on site to design action plan and review progress periodically)

  • Support and train legal entities worldwide on all topics that are related to Net Working Capital, Cash Collection and Cash Forecasting

  • Ensure legal entities are reporting Net Working Capital information on-time and on-quality

  • Actively support month-end closing activities including proper analysis considering actuals vs. budget & prior month forecast

  • Contribute to monthly MIS presentation preparation

  • Performs various monthly ad-hoc reporting requests to ease division financials understanding

  • Actively drive cash collection through regular reviews with legal entities / region and monitor overdues

  • Support ERP implementation & enhancements

  • Delivers effective, timely communication on all relevant issues to internal and external stakeholders


Your profile

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • At least 8 years of experience in Financial Analysis / Controlling

  • Experience in change/project management as well in framing and implementing improvement initiaitves

  • Highly developed skills in external and internal financial reporting

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels both internally and externally

  • Strong commercial awareness and deep business understanding

  • Very strong problem solving and ability to prioritize responsibilities, tasks and processes    

  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple improvement initiatives at once

  • Proficient in MS Office, esp. Excel

  • Excellent understanding of integrated ERP

  • Fluent in English

  • Willingness to travel (<20%)
