Join our Digital team within Group Functions division in Switzerland as Digital Solutions Sales Specialist to help us take our Digital Team to the next level. Employment is possible in either Houston TX, Leeds UK, or Bruchsal DE. 

 

Sulzer is a pioneer in IoT AI data-driven pump services. In close collaboration with Services and Flow Equipment divisions, we want to grow BLUE BOXTM advanced pump analytics services faster and scale our increasing successes in Digital Solutions Sales. In this function, you drive, in association with the divisional Frontline Sales colleagues, Digital Solutions Sales activities on data-driven offerings. Service solutions based on our pump-specific, AI-based BLUE BOXTM analytics platform represent a first main focus area. You ensure customer interaction and stakeholder commitment throughout the Sales process. On won contracts, you will work hand-in-hand with Digital Solutions Implementation teams, post-implementation Customer Engagement teams, and as needed, Core Development data science teams as you identify and confirm customer needs.

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

 


  • Drive Digital Solutions Sales of data-driven offerings with a first focus on BLUE BOXTM IoT AI advanced pump analytics services

  • Work with cross-functional Sales teams in an international organization

  • Identify and develop new Sales opportunities building on customers’ value drivers

  • Build and maintain a strong customer base in collaboration with divisional Frontline Sales forces

  • Ensure customer interaction and stakeholder commitment throughout the entire Sales process, especially in terms of quality and timelines, leveraging Salesforce CRM system

  • Optimize marketing materials to increase sales

  • Conduct trainings supported by the BLUE BOXTM teams

  • Identify and confirm customer needs, suggest improvements of existing features, and provide feedback to the teams

  • Contribute to the development of new service offerings, Digital solutions, and features for AI-based pump analytics

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences, or equivalent professional accreditation

  • Industrial experience in pumps, compressors and/or rotating machinery

  • Experience in solutions sales of cloud based IoT / AI / digital platforms in the manufacturing industry

  • Good business acumen and ability to sell Digital solutions both at management and operational levels

  • Organized and detail oriented professional with excellent presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, convincing networker, team player and ability to work with international and cross-functional teams

  • Good communication skills in English (communication skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages would be an asset)

  • Readiness to travel internationally around 50%
