A rare opportunity exists as a National Partnership Manager, General Insurance, responsible for providing leadership, pipeline development and managing Zurich Partnerships within ANZ.

The role exists as it is accountable, on behalf of the Head of Partnerships for the Delegated Programs Framework and the management and execution of ZAIL’s Delegated Programs partners. This will be achieved in line with strategic underwriting goals and strategies. This includes providing effective oversight and management of third-party relationships, including ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and contractual obligations partnering with internal stakeholders, and analysis of results to drive improved performance outcomes.

The role is also responsible for providing market facing and internal leadership to support the development and delivery of our Partnerships Strategy and customer value proposition. This includes acting as the strategic relationship manager for designated current Key Accounts across Partnerships and drive the new development of partnerships to contribute to the development of profitable growth.

Important to your success - let's grow together

  • Business degree or Legal degree (preferable).
  • ANZIIF Qualification (preferable).
  • Multiple years insurance experience with Product and training experience (preferable)
  • Experience and background in MGA management, Delegated Programs establishment and monitoring.
  • Commercially astute with a comprehensive understanding of the General Insurance industry and the products available.
  • Ability to provide intelligence on market competitors and strategies
  • Good relationship skills promoting cooperation, collaboration or acceptance.
  • Growth mindset that is opened to trying new things, bounces back quickly after setbacks and applies learning. from mistakes. Takes the time and effort to improve, learn and grow
  • Proven ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes and procedures
  • Experience in people management (2x direct reports – Partnership Specialist/ Data Analyst)
