The Position

The global Sub-Chapter Production Engineering - Change Services is part of the global Engineering Chapter responsible for cost efficient, reliable and lean Change Control Management (ECRs). The scope of this team is mainly on Product Care topics for established products and introduction of new products from pilot phase to commercial production. The sub-chapter brings in technical expertise to deliver successful material, system, process and product changes.

Career Opportunities

  • Engineering Change Coordination: Responsibility for planning, coordination, technical assessment, task assignment and implementation of changes in consultation with the Product Leader and/or Sub-Chapter Lead.

  • Creation and maintenance of specification and verification documentation, work plans, material master data and parts lists. Training of the required documents and responsible for the smooth entry and exit control of changes in production.

  • Proactive control and communication for timely completion of ECRs.

  • Responsible for meeting quality targets, deadlines and regulatory requirements, such as responsibility for verification documents and master data for product manufacturing.

  • Management of smaller projects assigned by the Product Lead or Sub-Chapter Lead projects (e.g. continuous improvement process, harmonisation projects)

  • Accompanies development projects and supports e.g. the construction of samples and prototypes, coordinates the required materials and provides feedback on manufacturability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completed technical training (e.g. technician, fitter, mechatronics technician, electrician, mechanic) with several years of professional experience, further training at HF or FH level is preferred

  • Proven professional experience in setting up an efficient production line for the production of complex mechatronic systems in a GMP environment, preferably for regulated medical devices

  • Proven experience in the coordination of more complex processes, change and stakeholder management with a strong service mindset and "we can" mentality

  • Strong team and communication skills to work successfully in an international matrix organisation with appropriate language skills (e.g. English language skills)

  • Eager to learn new digital tools and enjoy working in a changing environment with a corresponding flexibility and personal responsibility.
