Senior DevOps Engineer – cloud application deployment

In our Software Development Center, we develop a next-generation Cloud-ready solution that controls high-precision laboratory measurement instrumentation, collects and processes measurement data. The software is distributed worldwide and supports multiple languages. To further expand our leadership role, we invest in our software platforms for new products. That is why we are looking for a motivated Senior DevOps Engineer – cloud application deployment 80 - 100% (all genders).You would join us on an exciting journey, building new products from the ground up. You share our high standards for quality and would like to contribute to the development of a software product where testing and quality is not an afterthought but the main ingredient right from the start. This role is based at our global operational Headquarter near Zürich (Nänikon Greifensee). In this role, your responsibilities would include: Plan, design, implement and test application deployment strategiesPlan and execute application operations in customer like environmentDevelop solutions to automated deployment of production and testing environmentEvaluate and integrate appropriate tools for monitoring, tracing and diagnosing applicationsReview and analyze product and system specifications and provide technical recommendations in your field of expertiseAssist test automation with appropriate infrastructure solutionsAssist in the development of cross infrastructure container orchestrationAssist in designing backward compatibility and roll back strategyGuide and train teams on best practices regarding container deployment, testing and managementProvide operations support to team members
