R&d hardware engineer

Your Mission

  • Contribute to the development, continuous improvement and maintenance of ETEL electronic products over their complete lifecycle;
  • Make the product meet the specifications and comply with the norms, regulations and internal processes;
  • Propose and analyze all possible hardware architectures via calculations, simulations and experiments;
  • Select and design the final components for the chosen architecture;
  • Drive the hardware concept and design reviews. Exchange with suppliers when needed;
  • Define and participate to the qualification plan and design the test benches;
  • Validate and qualify the technical solutions via experiments on new or existing products;
  • Write technical documentation;
  • Guide PCB designers and electronic technicians during the design and qualification.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in electronics or related engineering fields (experience with power electronics is an advantage);
  • More than 2 years of professional experience;
  • Master development and simulation tools for the design of electronics hardware;
  • Able to design electronic circuits (schematics) with analog, digital and power (transistors) components;
  • Able to perform qualification tests;
  • Able to develop programs and test benches for FPGAs (VHDL);
  • Understand the interaction with other technical domains involved in the development;
  • Able to propose multiple technical solutions and assess the corresponding pros/cons;
  • Fluent in English. French is a plus.
