Swiss Life Asset Managers is implementing an international transformation programme in the real estate area and thus introducing a modern IT platform for all European real estate units. One of the key applications is the new real estate asset and fund management tool, which enables and modernizes both local and pan-European business.

We are looking for a Real Estate Application Engineer (f/m/d) to play a key role in this transformation. You will be working in an international team, gaining insight into a leading European real estate asset manager and collaborating with users across Europe. Our office is centrally located in Zurich, with occasional travel. Join us in this exciting journey!

Responsibilities

  • Make use of your IT and business knowledge to define the optimal solutions, support the real estate business and make a significant contribution to the continuous development of the standard software
  • Accompany the requirement engineering in all stages, from process analysis, case modelling, to conception and specification
  • Parametrizing the real estate asset & fund management tool in accordance with the specifications and independently adjusting
  • Consistently checking existing requirements with regards to standard conformity. You assess, where knowledge accumulation or configuration are sufficient and where further developments are necessary.
  • Successfully communicating between European business entities, product owners and the software provider. This enables you to act as a central point of contact for various stakeholders.
  • Supporting users after going live with your in-depth knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement and further development of the tool

Experience

  • A business informatics, computer science degree or comparable
  • Relevant experience as a business analyst in an IT interface function in the real estate area or the financial service industry
  • Project experience and knowledge of agile working methods
  • Structured, proactive, and reliable way of working as well as excellent communication skills
  • Motivation and joy from collaboration with international teams and users as well as getting value by dealing with different stakeholders
  • Very good English skills
