Description and Requirements

Our Solution Presales Consultant is an expert and advisor to our Global System Integrators (GSI) clients. This newly incubated team of consultants will maximize our ability work with existing GSIs to sell-through, sell-with, and sell-to to create one of a kind commercial solutions. The Solutions Presales Consultant will engage in a consultative approach with respective clientele leveraging Lenovo’s world class hardware, software, and services while also engaging 3rd party technologies and or alliances and partners to enable revenue growth and solutions relevance for Lenovo.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Existing sales and solutions relationships with Global Systems Integrators or Consulting firms
  • Extensive experience in solutions and services presales and or services design and delivery organizations for either technology OEMs or System Integrators.
  • Proven success in collaborating and driving revenue expansion with GSI’s.
  • Led complex solution ideation, design, and client presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years or more of IT sales or business and technology consulting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technology sales or architecture experience with enterprise technologies - Business Continuity and High Availability Solutions, Enterprise Data Management, Multi-cloud architectures and professional or managed services.
  • Ability to lead virtual teams in complex matrix organizations
  • Excellent presentation and proposal development and communication skills as you will need to be adept at working across geographies in a matrix organization
  • Personality that seeks pioneering of new ideas, integrating teams, driving outcomes and a winning mindset embracing ambiguity with an optimistic attitude; you will drive adoption of change and help Lenovo & our customers transition into a solution led future.
  • Participate and lead customer workshops, seminars, conferences as necessary. Ideally public speaking or media trained.
  • Candidates from OEM and GSI business presales backgrounds are desired
