Chief of Staff

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Chief of Staff to support our R&D team and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a world-renowned cryptographer, in driving our ambitious crypto initiatives forward. As the right-hand person to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, strategic alignment, and effective communication within the R&D team and across the organization.

Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the CTO to translate vision into actionable strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Example, own the content and production of the Global R&D Meetings.

  • Operational Excellence: Streamline processes, establish best practices, and optimize workflows to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.

  • Project Management: Oversee key projects and initiatives from inception to completion, tracking progress, managing timelines, and mitigating risks. Jira fluency preferred.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the CTO and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating communication and fostering strong relationships.

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, industry analysis, and technology assessments to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.

  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive support to the CTO, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and administrative tasks as needed.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CTO, driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering results.

Requirements: 


  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex initiatives from conception to execution.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Multi-lingual preferred. 

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and navigate ambiguity in a rapidly changing landscape.

  • Ability and passion to understand technical concepts and relate to technical people. 

  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally for conferences

* Please note that this role requires in-office work from our amazing office in Zurich 3 days per week
