Join us in revolutionizing our global warehouse operations and delivering excellence across our distribution network! As our new Head of Global Warehouse Operations Center of Excellence (CoE), your mission is to chart the course and set a strategic direction to drive operational excellence in our warehouses worldwide. You will be spearheading strategic initiatives and implementing best practices in close collaboration with our Regional Operations Teams in North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. You will lead a passionate and highly skilled team responsible for building a global warehouse control tower, enhancing warehouse performance management, onboarding new 3PL partners into On’s distribution network, managing warehouse integrations and relocations, overseeing SLA and SOP management, and driving process design and optimization.

In your role you will partner closely with different key stakeholders across On’s Global Supply Chain team, regional operations- and logistics colleagues and 3PL partners, among many others and report directly to the Director of Global Warehousing & Distribution. This position is based in Zurich, Switzerland and our working language is English.

Your Mission

Establish Global Warehouse Control Tower:

• Develop and implement a centralized warehouse control tower to provide visibility and oversight of warehouse operations across the global network.

• Implement tools and processes to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and proactively address operational issues.

Enhance Warehouse Performance Management:

• Define performance metrics and benchmarks to measure warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

• Analyze performance data and collaborate with regional operations and warehouse teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Onboard 3PL Partners into Distribution Network:

• Lead the onboarding process for 3PL partners, ensuring seamless integration into the distribution network and alignment with business objectives.

• Develop standardized onboarding procedures, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to 3PL partners to ensure compliance with SLAs and SOPs.

Oversee Warehouse Integrations and Relocations:

• Manage warehouse integration projects, facility expansions, and relocations, to optimize operational efficiency and capacity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, coordinate resources, and minimize disruption to warehouse operations.

SLA and SOP Management:

• Establish service level agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders and 3PL partners, defining performance expectations and contractual obligations.

• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Drive Process Design and Optimization:

• Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation in warehouse processes.
