WinGD is looking for a

Project Manager Retrofit

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the project plan, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, in alignment with organizational goals and constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources, assign tasks, and ensure clear communication and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage risks and issues, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment, address concerns, and solicit feedback to drive project success.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations, tracking costs and variances to ensure adherence to financial constraints and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices for future projects.

Requirements

  • Bsc or Msc in Mechanical engineering or Marine engineering with sound experience in engine building, service and/or design
  • Business-oriented thinking (consider financial and time related issues)
  • Experience from international company in manufacturing and/or maritime business (understanding engine manufacturing)
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations (flexible working on different projects)
  • Ability to establish relations with key customers (together with technical sales and KAM)
  • Readiness to travel (approx 10 – 15% on year basis)
  • Leadership / managerial skills (lead / coordinate international Project Management team)
  • Problem solving skills (prepare retrofit solutions and support resolving issues during project execution phase)
  • Interpersonal skills (work together with different departments)
  • Self-Management (retrofit solution development in defined time schedule)
  • Communication skills (written and oral in English and German)
  • Teamwork skills (lead teamwork meetings and motivate people)
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • English and German (written and oral)
